Grammar of Counting
- Adaptation of the Number to the Counted Noun
- Numbers 1-9 adopt the gender of the noun.
- Adaptation of the Counted Noun to the Number
- Number 1 is followed by the noun in nominative singular, 2-9 by the noun in nominative plural, 10 and higher by the noun in genitive plural.
- Comments on the Grammar
- Flexion is done by suffixes. Masculine nouns with stem ending in a consonant receive an additional "-s" in nominative singular, e.g. "lat-s".
