- Adaptation of the Number to the Counted Noun
- Numbers 1 adopts the gender of the noun.
- Adaptation of the Counted Noun to the Number
- Number 1 is followed by the noun in nominative singular, 2 and higher are followed by the noun in nominative plural.
- Comments on the Grammar
- Flexion is done by suffixes. Regular plural is formed with the ending "-s". For nouns ending in "-al" and "-ão" the plural endings read "-ais" and "-ões", respectively.
